The Encourage Science Initiative Essay Competition is here for 2024, inviting all undergraduate students in Nigerian universities studying STEM courses. This competition seeks to inspire students to think critically about how STEM research funding can drive economic growth and development in Nigeria.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate, ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Be an undergraduate student in a Nigerian university.
• Be studying a STEM course (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
• Write an essay not exceeding 500 words.

Prizes

Winners will receive the following awards:

• 1st Position: ₦50,000
• 2nd Position: ₦30,000
• 3rd Position: ₦20,000
• All winners will also get free mentorship from scholars in their field.
