ESUT ICT Hub Certificates Now Required for Clearance

Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT, has informed students about the ongoing digital skills training at the ESUT ICT and Innovation Hub.

The notice says the Hub continues to run structured training programmes for students, with focus on digital skills, enterprise skills and technology-based learning. ESUT says the plan supports its push to produce graduates with practical skills for work, business and modern career demands.

ESUT Urges Students to Join ICT Hub Training

ESUT management has asked students to take part in at least two training programmes at the Hub.

The message is plain enough: students should not wait until final clearance before checking what they need. Since the certificates will form part of graduation clearance, each student needs to plan early, register, attend training and keep valid proof.

Courses Available at ESUT ICT and Innovation Hub

The Hub offers different training areas for students who want to build useful digital and work-ready skills.

Available courses include:

• Digital Literacy and Productivity Tools
• Data Analysis and Visualisation
• Graphics Design and Multimedia
• Software Development and Programming
• Cybersecurity Fundamentals

Some may prefer data or software courses, while others may lean into design, marketing or enterprise training; the key point remains the same, each student needs at least two valid certificates from the Hub.

Two Certificates Needed for Graduation Clearance

ESUT has stated that all students must present at least two valid certificates obtained from the ESUT ICT and Innovation Hub as part of graduation clearance.

That means the training now carries clear academic and clearance value. Students who take part early will have more time to complete their chosen courses, collect their certificates and avoid late pressure during clearance.

Students can get more information from the Administrative Office of the Hub.

The office will provide details on registration schedules, training batches, available courses and certification steps. Students who need guidance should check with the Hub before choosing their training options.

Notice to University Officers and Student Leaders

The circular also asked Deans, Heads of Departments, Faculty Officers and Student Leaders to spread the information widely.

ESUT wants students to receive the notice through their faculties, departments and student channels. The goal is simple: every student should know about the two-skill certificate requirement before graduation clearance begins.
