The scholarship is dedicated to honouring the memory of Mrs. Florence Bamidele Makanjuola, an educator and nurse committed to empowering women and improving education in Nigeria.

Scholarship Benefits

The FBM Scholarship offers financial support to female students at both secondary and university levels.

Here's what you can expect:

• Secondary School Students: Up to N350,000 per year.
• University Students: Up to N650,000 per year.

Eligible Fields of Study

The scholarship focuses on female students interested in the following fields:

• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) teaching at the university level.
• Nursing studies at the university level.

Eligibility Requirements for FBM Scholarship

To apply for the Florence Bamidele Makanjuola Scholarship, you must meet these requirements:

• Be a female Nigerian citizen.
• Be enrolled in or have gained admission to a public university or senior secondary school in Nigeria.
• Be interested in studying STEM teaching or nursing at the university level.

Academic Requirements

Different academic criteria apply for secondary school and university applicants.

Secondary School Applicants

• A minimum of five distinctions (A or B) in English, Mathematics and three other major subjects in the Junior WAEC examination.

University Applicants

• A minimum of five distinctions (A1 to B3) in English, Mathematics and three other major subjects in the WAEC/NECO exams, taken in one sitting.
• Meet the JAMB cut-off score for your chosen course and university.
