Fountain University Notice on Suspension of 2021 Convocation Ceremony

The management of the Fountain University, Osogbo (FUO) has issued a notice on the suspension of the 2021 Convocation Ceremony.

At its 101st meeting held on Wednesday 23rd, December 2020 senate reviewed the general situation in the country, especially as it affects the educational sector. it resolved that due to the inhabitations occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic over the past year and even now, the 10th Convocation should be suspended for 2021 and combined with the 11th edition which will hold in January 2022. The suspension will allow for proper preparation and organization of a befitting event of which the university has been known since inception.

Consequently, the Award of Honorary Doctorate Degrees( honoris causa) to Dr AWA Ibrahim Professor Nurudeen ‘Nimbe Adedipe and Prof Toyin Falola, will be deffered until the 2022 convocation when a physical ceremony is expected to hold.
