FRAUD ALERT: FULOKOJA Notice to 2018/2019 Freshmen

The attention of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has been drawn to the activities of a lady parading herself to unsuspecting applicants/newly admitted students as the university representatives.

The lady identified as SHINA OKEWALE with Diamond Bank account number 0101961861 and telephone number 08102763755 has been parading herself to be a staff or agent of Federal University Lokoja (FUL), instructing unsuspecting applicants/newly admitted students of the University to pay money into her account with the assumption that online registration has commenced. The lady is a scammer as she is neither a staff nor agent of Federal University Lokoja and anyone that deals with her does that at his or her own peril.

Please note that registration has NOT commenced for the 2018/2019 Academic Session and payments can be made ONLY into the University’s account through REMITA. All newly admitted students are urged to be calm and vigilant as they will be informed in this regard at the appropriate time. They are also advised to beware of such requests as they may come in various forms and could be misleading. Any of such fraudulent activities should be ignored or reported to the University Management immediately.
