FUOYE Academic Calendar 2025/2026 Session Released
Federal University Oye-Ekiti has released the official academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session. The timetable covers registration, lectures, matriculation, exams and holidays. All students are encouraged to take note and follow accordingly.
The Federal University Oye-Ekiti has drawn out its academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session. Both freshers and returning students now have a clear map of how the year will roll out, from resumption to convocation, with breaks, exams and even union week neatly slotted in.

First Semester FUOYE Academic Calendar
- Monday, 22nd September 2025: Resumption and online registration begins for all students. Lectures start same day for returning students.
- Monday, 29th September – Friday, 3rd October 2025: Fresh students resume and take part in orientation.
- Monday, 6th October 2025: Lectures begin for everyone.
- Monday, 6th – Friday, 10th October 2025: Late registration window.
- Friday, 10th October 2025: Last day for late school fees payment for returning students.
- Thursday, 13th November 2025: Matriculation for Oye campus.
- Friday, 14th November 2025: Matriculation for Ikole campus.
- Friday, 19th December 2025: Lectures end, followed by end-of-year break.
- Monday, 12th – Friday, 16th January 2026: Revision week.
- Monday, 19th January – Saturday, 7th February 2026: Examinations run for all students.
- Sunday, 8th – Sunday, 15th February 2026: Convocation ceremonies and Founder's Day.
- Monday, 9th February – Saturday, 7th March 2026: First semester break.

Second Semester FUOYE Academic Calendar
- Monday, 9th March 2026: Resumption and start of lectures.
- Friday, 20th March 2026 (tentative): Eid-el-Fitr.
- Friday, 3rd – Monday, 6th April 2026: Easter break.
- Thursday, 28th May 2026 (tentative): Id el Kabir.
- Friday, 5th June 2026: End of lectures.
- Monday, 8th – Thursday, 11th June 2026: Student Union Week.
- Friday, 12th June 2026: Democracy Day.
- Monday, 15th – Friday, 19th June 2026: Revision week.
- Monday, 22nd June – Saturday, 11th July 2026: Examinations.
- Monday, 13th July – Saturday, 19th September 2026: End-of-session break.
Summary:
- Lectures: 13 weeks

- Revision: 1 week
- Exams: 3 weeks
- Total: 18 weeks
Quick Notes
- Sporting activities are fixed for Fridays at 1 pm throughout the semester.
- Public holidays will be observed as announced by the Federal Government.
- The next session, 2026/2027, kicks off on Monday, 21st September 2026.
