Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) Clarifies School Fee Receipt Requirements for Lectures
Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) clarifies that presenting school fee receipts is not a requirement for attending lectures. Read on for details.
The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has addressed recent claims circulating on social media, stating that new students are required to present school fee receipts before being allowed into lecture halls. These claims are incorrect and misleading.
FUOYE affirms its commitment to providing quality education without placing unnecessary barriers in the way of students. No policy exists requiring the presentation of school fee receipts as a prerequisite for attending lectures.
Course Registration and Payment
It is essential that students complete course registration and pay the required fees to ensure academic tracking and proper resource allocation. However, lecture attendance is not contingent upon presenting fee receipts. The registration of courses allows the institution to track students’ academic progress efficiently.
While students must register for courses and settle fees, this process is designed to streamline academic operations and does not restrict access to lecture halls.
Student Welfare and Support
The Vice-Chancellor of FUOYE has demonstrated strong support for student welfare through various initiatives. Recently, a sensitization programme was held to educate students on NELfund loan opportunities, with the presence of officials from relevant organisations, including the national student leadership.
If any student encounters issues related to these rumours, they are encouraged to report to the Student Affairs division. The university is committed to addressing concerns promptly to ensure fairness within the learning environment.
Maintaining the integrity of FUOYE is a collective responsibility, and ensuring smooth academic processes remains a priority for the institution.
