FUTA Post UTME/DE Form 2026/2027: Dates and Fee

FUTA will run the online registration from Monday, 1 June 2026, to Friday, 3 July 2026.

The screening fee is ₦2,000 only. Candidates must pay through the Remita platform after generating the required payment code.

Anyone who wants to take part in the screening should complete the form within this period; FUTA states that candidates who miss the registration window will not qualify for the screening.

Who Can Apply for FUTA Post UTME?

UTME candidates must score at least 180 in the 2026 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Direct Entry candidates must choose Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) as their first-choice university. This rule matters because FUTA links the screening process to the choice made on the JAMB portal.

Applicants must also have at least five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in O’Level examinations conducted by WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or an equivalent body.

FUTA accepts not more than two sittings.

Age Rule for FUTA Admission

Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.

This age rule applies to candidates seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.

MBBS Admission Update

FUTA has restored admission into the MBBS programme, which was earlier suspended.

Interested candidates who meet the admission requirements can now apply.

How to Apply for FUTA Post UTME/DE Screening

Candidates should visit the FUTA official website for details and complete the Post UTME application form online.

The application process is simple, but candidates should handle it with care:

  1. Visit the FUTA website.
  2. Generate the required payment code.
  3. Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee through Remita at any bank.
  4. Return to the FUTA website after payment.
  5. Complete and submit the online registration form.
  6. Print a copy of the completed registration form.

A candidate should use the correct UTME Registration Number and full name during payment and registration. The name must match the one on the JAMB slip.

FUTA Registration Rules Candidates Must Follow

FUTA requires every eligible candidate to complete the online registration form before taking part in the screening exercise.

The school also requires candidates to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS on or before Friday, 3 July 2026. Any candidate who fails to do this will not qualify for admission.

Screening participation also counts. FUTA states that candidates who do not take part in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission into the university.
