How the group approaches students
According to the Students' Union, members of NEOLIFE may approach students while dressed in corporate-looking outfits or uniforms. That appearance can make the approach seem normal; students should still be cautious.
The Union also warned that the group may manipulate their words and lie to initiate students into their cult.
What to do if approached
If a student encounters the group or gets approached, the Students' Union advised that the student should not engage.
The Union urged students to report immediately to any of the following:
- Any Students' Union Representative
- Lecturers
- The appropriate school authority
- Campus Security
(Quick action helps; silence gives room for repeat approaches.)
A safer option for skills and income learning
For students who want to learn skills, earn income and grow professionally, the Students' Union pointed students to the Campus Entrepreneurship Centre.
The Union encouraged students to focus on career-relevant skills connected to their area of study, such as:
- Software-related skills
- Structural design
- Drafting tools
- Other approved vocational or digital skills relevant to the student's course
The Union stated that these skills can enhance education, improve employability and prepare students for life after graduation.
Safety and academics first
The Students' Union stressed that student safety, focus and success remain top priorities. Students are expected to stay alert, stay Focused and keep their attention on academics (even when distractions show up dressed as opportunity).
