The Guinness Nigeria Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme is now open for applications for 2024.
This programme is part of Guinness Nigeria Plc’s effort to support youth development by helping students with tuition fees.
It is available to students currently studying at public Nigerian universities.
Students from the company’s host communities are encouraged to apply.
Who Can Apply for the Guinness Nigeria Scholarship?
To qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a student in your second year at a public Nigerian university, polytechnic, or college of education.
- Be studying a STEM course (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- If you are a university or college of education student, you must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.4 or 3.5 (second class upper credit).
- If you are a polytechnic student, you must have a CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) in your Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and have secured admission into a Higher National Diploma (HND) programme.
How Are Candidates Selected?
Candidates will be required to take an aptitude test.
Shortlisted candidates may also need to provide a letter of introduction from the Chairman of their Community Development Association, if applicable.
