Igbinedion University 22nd Matriculation Ceremony Date, Other Details

The management of the Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO) has released the schedule for the 22nd matriculation ceremony of the institution.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye, PhD, FAS, on behalf of the Governing Council and Senate hereby announces the 22nd Matriculation Ceremony of Igbinedion University, Okada scheduled for Saturday 27th February 2021 by 11 am at the University Main Auditorium Main Campus, Okada.

The event which holds both physically and online via Zoom will be graced by the former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Architect Mohammed Namadi Sambo, GCON, as Special Guest of Honour, while Engr. Justice Opelamina Derefaka, Technical Adviser on Gas Business & Policy Implementation to the Honorable Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources (MPR) will deliver the Matriculation Lecture entitled: "Refocusing Value-Driven Education in the Digital Age Through the Lens of Entrepreneurship, Enterprise and Global Competitiveness: Lessons for Nigeria".

Parents and guests are advised to join the ceremony via zoom beginning from 10 are prompt on Meeting ID 94046214262 with the Passcode iuokada.

All matriculating students are required to come with their face masks, hand sanitisers and maintain physical distancing at the venue as would be directed by the University Covid-19 Marshalls.
