Imo State College of Nursing Sciences, Orlu has announced the registration of candidates for the 2026/2027 Post UTME screening exercise into the General Nursing Programme.

Registration will start on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.

Who Can Apply for IMCONS General Nursing Admission?

Candidates who chose Imo State College of Nursing Sciences, Orlu as first choice and scored at least 170 in UTME can apply.

They must also have chosen General Nursing as their programme.

Can Candidates Who Did Not Choose IMCONS Apply?

Candidates who did not choose Imo State College of Nursing Sciences, Orlu as first choice may still apply if they scored the required cut-off mark.

Such candidates are expected to visit the JAMB website or office and change their first-choice school to Imo State College of Nursing Sciences, Orlu before the Post UTME application closes.

What O'Level Results Are Required?

Candidates must possess five credits at Senior Secondary School Certificate level or its equivalent.

Must Results Be Uploaded to JAMB?

Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB.

Candidates whose results are missing on JAMB will be excluded from admission consideration, even where the online application has been completed.

  1. Visit the IMCONS website.
  2. Follow the application steps provided on the home page.
  3. Complete the online application.
  4. Print the application form and examination slip after successful application.
  5. Visit the College Bursary unit for payment.
  6. Submit a copy of the application form, examination slip and payment receipt to the Registrar's office.
  7. Keep the acknowledgement slip for the screening venue.

Candidates should make sure that their JAMB details, programme choice and O'Level details are correct before submission.

How Much Is the Application Fee?

The application fee is N29,500.

Payment will be made at the College Bursary unit after the candidate has printed the application form and examination slip.

When Will the Application Portal Open and Close?

The application portal will open on 2 June 2026.

It will close on 1 July 2026.

When Will the Aptitude Test Hold?

The aptitude test will hold from 2 to 3 July 2026.

The test will start at 9 am each day.

What Should Candidates Bring to the Screening Venue?

Candidates are expected to present the acknowledgement slip at the screening venue on the date of the screening or examination.

The slip should be kept safe after registration, since it will serve as evidence of completed application steps.

What Should Applicants Confirm Before Submission?

Applicants should confirm their UTME score, first-choice status, General Nursing programme choice and JAMB result upload before submitting the form.

They should also check that copies of the application form, examination slip and receipt have been submitted to the Registrar's office for documentation.
