JAMB Delists 5 CBT Centres, Arrests 27 Impersonators

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has removed five Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres from the 2025 UTME.
These centres failed to meet the technical rules needed for the examination.

- Adventure Associate, Behind Sheshe Supermarket, Off Hadejia Road, Kano, Kano State
- Saadatu Rimi College of Education, Zaria Road, Naibawa, Kano, Kano State
- Penta M & F Technical Services Ltd, Centre 2, 96km Sokoto-Jega Road, Tambuwal
- Penta M & F Technical Services Ltd, Centre 1, 96km Sokoto-Jega Road, Tambuwal
- Soronara Ventured Nigeria Limited, Foundation Road, Umudagu Mbieri, Mbaitoli, Imo State
Know What Candidates Should Do Next
- Candidates who chose any of these centres must reprint their examination notification slips.
- Reprinting will show the new centre and rescheduled examination date.
- Failure to reprint the slip will not be accepted as an excuse.

- By 25 April 2025, over 900,000 candidates had completed the UTME.
- A total of 2,083,600 candidates registered for the 2025 UTME.

JAMB was informed about a case at Caleb University where candidates wearing hijabs were stopped from entering.
- The action was traced to a security officer acting without approval.
- The Vice-Chancellor of the university condemned the action.
- The situation was quickly corrected to ensure that no candidate lost the chance to sit for the exam.
- JAMB gave apologies to those affected.
- The leadership at the centre and the university moved fast to correct the mistake.

JAMB praised the 883 centres that performed well.
JAMB gave a clear warning that any centre that fails to meet technical or ethical rules will be blacklisted.
Ownership of the centre will not protect it from being delisted.
