JAMB only assigns candidates to centres inside the town they choose.
Claims that JAMB posts candidates to other towns are wrong and made to harm the Board's image.
See How Exam Centres Are Assigned
- Candidates choose their preferred examination town during registration.
- JAMB assigns a centre within the selected town.
- No candidate is posted outside the chosen town.
Know About the Challenge for Proof
- JAMB has offered a cash reward for anyone who brings real proof of a candidate being posted outside their selected town.
- Proof must be submitted within 96 hours.
- Proof must be sent to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) using the WhatsApp number 08056003030.
- The FCCPC will check the proof and ensure the reward is given or clear JAMB's name.
Understand the Need for Early Arrival
JAMB reminds candidates that early arrival at CBT centres is for proper checks.
- Candidates must arrive at least 90 minutes before the exam starts.
- This time allows for all verification steps before the exam.
- This step is like how air-travellers are told to arrive early before flights.
Learn from a Recent Event
JAMB shared a case where a female candidate refused to answer exam questions.
The candidate said her grandfather told her to wait for a miracle to pass the exam.
JAMB made it clear that miracles do not replace hard work in their exams.
Follow the Right Steps for Success
