What is the PAAU Post UTME/DE screening form for 2026/2027?
The PAAU Post UTME/Direct Entry screening form allows qualified UTME and DE candidates to register for undergraduate admission screening for the 2026/2027 academic session. The screening will take place online and PAAU will screen UTME candidates with their UTME score and O'level results only.
Candidates do not need to attend a physical screening venue from the details supplied. They need correct records, valid O'level details and a completed online form.
Who can apply for PAAU Post UTME screening?
UTME candidates can apply if they meet the university's basic screening conditions. PAAU will only consider candidates who applied to the university or changed their course of study to the university, as their first choice.
A UTME candidate must also score at least 150. Some courses require higher scores, so candidates should check the course-by-course cut-off marks before paying the screening fee.
What are the PAAU Post UTME requirements?
Candidates need to meet the academic and portal requirements before submitting the form. A small error can delay admission; a false record can end the admission process.
PAAU requires UTME candidates to have:
- A UTME score of 150 or above, depending on the chosen course.
- The correct UTME subject combination for the proposed course of study.
- Five relevant O'level credit passes, based on the university's entry requirements.
- O'level results uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
- Correct WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or other relevant certificate details.
- A valid examination number, exam date, exam type and scratch card PIN.
Candidates awaiting O'level results may apply. They must state that they are awaiting results, then upload the results as soon as they are released.
Why does the O'level upload on JAMB CAPS matter?
PAAU states that no admission will be offered without O'level results on JAMB CAPS. This means candidates should upload their results on JAMB CAPS as soon as possible, since screening and admission depend on that upload.
The university also asks candidates to enter the same O'level details on the screening form. The details should match the candidate's certificates.
What should Direct Entry candidates know?
Direct Entry candidates who applied to JAMB for admission and chose PAAU, Anyigba, as their first choice must also complete the online screening form. PAAU accepts eligible DE candidates based on the required grades listed by the university.
The minimum entry grades include:
- Upper Credit for ND, HND and University Diploma.
- Merit for NCE.
- A minimum of 10 points for A'level candidates.
- A recognised first degree certificate.
PAAU will subject A'level results with a minimum of 10 points to verification on the Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (IPEDS) through JAMB's e-facility handle, as required by JAMB. DE candidates should also make sure their O'level results appear on JAMB CAPS.
How can candidates apply for PAAU Post UTME/DE screening?
Candidates should complete the screening form online through the PAAU admission screening portal. They should read the instructions on the portal before entering details or making payment.
- Visit the PAAU admission screening portal.
- Read the portal instructions carefully.
- Provide the required personal, academic and admission details.
- Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee with an ATM debit card, bank transfer or another portal-supported payment option.
- Fill in relevant certificate details, including WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or other accepted results.
- Enter the correct examination number, examination date, examination type and scratch card PIN.
- Preview all entries before submission.
- Submit only after confirming that every detail is correct.
Candidates can complete the process from any location. Accuracy matters more than speed.
