Lagos Science Research & Innovation Council STEM Challenge 2025

Applications are now open for the Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC) STEM Challenge 2025. This opportunity is designed to encourage innovative solutions that enhance STEM education across all levels, from primary schools to tertiary institutions.

Focus Areas for the Challenge

Participants are encouraged to submit solutions that align with the following areas:

• FutureTech
• AI and Robotics
• GreenTech
• Inclusivity Tech
• EdTech and General Tech Skills
• Capacity Building

The goal is to foster impactful ideas that contribute to education and sustainability.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in this challenge, applicants must meet these requirements:

• Present a valid means of identification.
• Own a startup registered and operational in Lagos.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Submit an original product, tool, solution or technique.
• Have a Minimum Viable Product with proven impact on verifiable beneficiaries.
• Not owe the Lagos State Government for loans or support funds, such as LSETF.

Application Information

LASRIC is particularly interested in initiatives with scalable solutions offering high value. These may be eligible for equity investment from LASRIC.
