LASU Sandwich orientation and matriculation ceremony for 2025 Modular Year

The Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme, Lagos State University, has set the Orientation and Matriculation Ceremonies for newly admitted Sandwich students for the 2025 Modular Year.

Both events will take place on Friday, 10 April 2026, at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, LASU Main Campus, Ojo. The day will begin with orientation; matriculation follows later in the afternoon.

Orientation ceremony date, time and venue

The orientation ceremony has been scheduled as follows:

This session is meant to acquaint newly admitted Sandwich students with the university's academic structure, policies and expectations.

Matriculation ceremony date, time and venue

The matriculation ceremony has also been fixed for the same day.

For new entrants, that means a full day on campus; first the briefing, then the formal ceremony.

Who should attend

All newly admitted Sandwich students are enjoined to attend and take part fully in the ceremonies. The university stated that the events are meant to familiarise students with its academic structure, rules and expectations.

What new students should know

The two ceremonies will hold at one venue on the LASU main campus in Ojo. The orientation starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs till 1:00 p.m.; the matriculation ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m.

New students should keep the date and venue in view and attend both events as scheduled.
