LEIMAAF Scholarship 2025 for Nigerians in Tertiary Institutions

The Late Emmanuel Idowu and Maria Ajike Areogun Scholarship Foundation (LEIMAAF) was founded in 2015 to assist Christian students studying in public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

This scholarship covers tuition fees and provides career mentorship to help students achieve their educational goals.

Scholarship Categories

The scholarship programme offers two categories:

• SOAR Accessibility Scholarship: Focuses on students with financial challenges and strong potential.
• SOAR Excellence Scholarship: Recognises students with outstanding academic performance.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

• Be enrolled in a public higher institution in Nigeria.
• Show commitment to completing a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Prove financial need and lack of other means to cover tuition fees.
• Maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.5 (for SOAR Excellence applicants) in 200 level or higher.
• Submit an academic report for the previous session.
• Display perseverance in overcoming challenges.

Application Process

Follow these steps to apply:

1. Complete the online application form.
2. Submit all required documents.

Required Documents

• Completed application form.
• Recent photograph.
• Photocopy of school ID card.
• Copies of O'level, JAMB and Post-UTME results.
• Admission letter.
• Evidence of past session registration.
• Academic results from the previous session.
• Recommendation letter from parents (for SOAR Accessibility applicants).
• Commitment letter for academic focus and following Christian values.
• Recommendation letter from a local church pastor, emailed directly by the pastor.
