MCIU 7th Undergraduate & 1st Postgraduate Convocation Ceremony

It is almost that time again when caps fly in the air, proud families cheer and graduates finally exhale after years of long nights and lecture hall runs. Michael and Cecilia Ibru University (MCIU), tucked in Agbarha-Otor, Ughelli, Delta State, has set the stage for its 7th Undergraduate and 1st Postgraduate Convocation Ceremony.

The celebration is billed for Saturday, 6th September 2025. By 9:00 in the morning, guests, graduands and the academic community will gather at the Power of Faith Building, the university's landmark hall.

What To Expect

Convocations are never just another formal event. They carry a mix of laughter, pride and sometimes even tears. At this ceremony, MCIU will roll out:

• Award of undergraduate degrees
• Recognition of postgraduate degrees (a first for the university)
• Prizes for outstanding students
• Conferment of honorary doctorate degrees
