Murtala Muhammed Foundation STEM Scholarship 2025

The Murtala Muhammed Foundation, in collaboration with the Africa Science Academy, invites applications for its fully funded scholarship programme.

This opportunity supports African women studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at universities across Africa.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship provides the following:

• Full tuition fees for a four-year undergraduate degree.
• On-campus accommodation.
• Living expenses.
• Comprehensive medical insurance.
• Annual paid internship opportunities.
• Mentorship from STEM professionals.
• Annual participation in a leadership summer school.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must meet these conditions:

• Be a female African citizen aged 16–19 years.
• Have completed secondary school (IGCSEs, O-Level or equivalent) by July 2024.
• Achieve a grade of A or B in Physics and Mathematics in WAEC or equivalent exams.
• Show a strong interest and aptitude in STEM fields.
