The Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) announces a special edition of the NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme (UGSS) for students from its host communities.
This scholarship marks the company's 35 years of incorporation and 25 years of operational work in Nigeria.

The scheme aims to support outstanding students from NLNG host communities, helping them to complete their undergraduate studies at public universities in Nigeria.
Requirements for the NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme
Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria.
- Must be a Nigerian citizen from one of the NLNG host communities.
- Must be enrolled in a Nigerian federal or state-owned university.
- Must have at least five O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in one sitting.
- Must score a minimum of 200 in the UTME exam.
- Must be a full-time undergraduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental or Geo-science studies.
- Must maintain a CGPA of at least 3.5 on a 5.0 scale (or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale).
- Must be between 18 and 25 years of age.
- Must not receive any other scholarship, bursary or grant from another organisation.
- Must not be related to NLNG staff.
- Must present a valid ID letter from the host community and Local Government Council.
How to Apply for the NLNG Scholarship
To apply, use your email and mobile number.
Make sure to have scanned copies of the following documents for upload:
- Recent passport photo with a white background (450px by 450px, not more than 200kb).
- O-Level and UTME results.
- University and JAMB admission letters.
- University student ID card.
- Birth certificate from the National Population Commission.
- Local Government Area letter of identification.
- National ID Number (NIN) slip.
- Complete academic transcripts signed by the university's registry or exams unit.
- Community identification letter signed by the CDC Chairman or local ruler.
Name each file clearly to match the content for easy identification.
Steps to Apply
- Visit the NLNG UGSS Application Portal.
- Click "Register" to create an account with your email.
- Activate your account through the link in your email.
- Log in using your email and password to enter your details.
- Complete personal, educational and other required information and upload all documents.
- Ensure the names used in the application match those on all documents.
- Preview all uploaded documents for accuracy.
- Upload a passport photo with a white background.
- Review the application for any errors.
- Click "Apply Now" to submit your application.
- You will receive an email confirming your application.
Applicants must use a personal email to create their Scholastica account.
Avoid using someone else's email or account for this application.
