NOH Enugu College of Nursing Sciences Admission: Requirements and How to Apply [UPDATED]

The National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu (NOHE) College of Nursing Sciences Admission Form for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available.

The college invites applications from qualified candidates for the following programmes:

• Basic Nursing
• Basic Midwifery
• Post Basic Nursing (Orthopaedic/Burns & Plastic)

Admission Requirements

To apply, you must meet these criteria:

1. Age: You must be at least 16 years old.
2. Educational Qualifications: You need O' Level credit passes in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. These should be obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, GCE or at one sitting from NABTEB.
3. Birth Certificate: Provide a birth certificate or a declaration of age (not a baptismal card).
4. School Testimonial: A testimonial from your last school attended.
5. Marriage Certificate: If applicable.
6. Passport Photographs: Two recent passport photographs.
7. Mode of Identification: Provide your NIN, PVC, Driver's License or International Passport.
8. Nursing Certificate/Licenses: Required for Post Basic Nursing applicants.
9. Document Verification: Bring original and photocopies of all relevant documents to the interview.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to apply:

1. Payment via Remita
   • Pay N22,500 for the admission form and examination fee to the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu.
   • Visit Remita.
   • Select "Pay a Biller".
   • Type "National Orthopaedic Hospital Enugu" in the "Who to Pay" field.
   • Select "POS Collections" under "Service/Purpose".
   • Complete the form and submit.
   • Use any Remita channel to pay.
   If you need assistance, approach any ICT staff at the ICT Lab.
2. Confirm Payment
   • Go to the Registrar's office to confirm your payment via Remita.
   • Exchange your confirmed Remita receipt for an NOHE receipt.
   • Collect your application form.
3. Data Processing
   • Take your filled form to the ICT Lab for data processing.

Note: The sale of forms starts on Wednesday, 19th June and ends on Tuesday, 15th October 2024.

Entrance Examination

The entrance examination will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
