Bells University of Technology Resumption Details

The Bells University of Technology Resumption for 300 to 500-level students in the 2024/2025 academic session is approaching.

The university is getting ready to welcome its students back and there are some important details for all returning students.

Resumption Date

All 300 to 500-level students will resume on Sunday, 22nd September 2024.

You need to take note of the instructions and prepare for your return to campus.

At the University's Main Gate

When arriving, parents and students must enter through the main gate along Idiroko road.

All vehicles will go through a security check at the gate.

Clearance for entry into the halls of residence will be organised by colleges:

• COLENG – Marquee.
• COLNAS and COLMANS – ELT.
• COLENVS and COLFAST – Lecture Theatre 1.

General Instructions

Students should arrive between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM on the resumption day.

A minimum of 25% of the fees must be paid before arrival.

The Bursary Department will have desks at the venues to confirm payments.

Course registration forms need to be printed and submitted to departmental officers within two weeks.

At the reception points, you must present hard copies of:

• Payment evidence.
• Course registration forms.
• Room allocation forms.

Dress Code

All students must dress decently.

Female students should have their hair at mid-back length with natural hair colour only (no odd or tinted colours).

They must not have tattoos or multiple piercings (no nose rings or ankle chains).

Male students must have neatly cut low hair and be clean shaved. No tattoos, earrings, necklaces or beaded jewellery are allowed.

At the Halls of Residence

The Hall Wardens will guide the process of admission into the halls.

Here's what you need to do at the halls of residence:

1. Present your clearance.
2. Show proof of school fees payment.
3. Complete the registration.
4. Collect your hall ID card.
5. Receive your room keys.
6. Inspect your room with the porter.

At the University Health Centre

All students are required to undergo a mandatory drug screening.

The drug test costs N15,000 per semester and must be done between Monday, 23rd September and Friday, 11th October 2024.

Make sure to carry your student ID card when going for the test.

Failure to take the drug test will result in penalties.
