NUC Grants Full Accreditation for All Programmes in Al-Qalam University

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released results of the accreditation of undergraduate programmes for Al-Qalam University Katsina conducted in March /April 2021.
Four programmes were accredited during the exercise and the results just released, showed outstanding performance by the University.
All the programmes – BA English, BA Islamic Studies, BA Arabic and BSc Computer Science obtained Full accreditation status.
A letter to Al-Qalam University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shehu Garki Ado, conveying the results of the accreditation exercise, dated 2nd August, 2021, was signed by Dr. Maryam Sali, Director of Accreditation on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Prof. Abubakar Rasheed.
With this development, twenty-two of the twenty-six undergraduate programmes of the University have secured Full accreditation status from the NUC, while the remaining four programmes – BSc Microbiology, BSc Biochemistry, BSc Software Engineering and BSc Science Laboratory Technology will be due for initial accreditation in 2022.
