NUC Accredits YSU Law, 4 Other Programmes

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation status to Law and four other degree programmes offered by the Yobe State University (YSU).

YSU receives NUC accreditation

The Yobe State University has received the National University Commission (NUC) full accreditation status for five programmes including Law, English Language, Biology, Computer Science and Statistics.

This was contained in a letter signed by the Director of Accreditation, National Universities Commission (NUC), Dr Maryam Sali.

With this, the University now has 41 undergraduate programmes fully accredited

The institution's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mala M. Daura, expressed his gratitude for the achievement recorded by the University in respect of the accreditation exercise.

He further thanked the Yobe state governor Mai Mala Buni for the huge infrastructural and necessary support given to see the success of the exercise and thanked NUC for the assessment and grant of full accreditation for the programmes.
