Oyo State Bursary: Financial Aid for Eligible Students

The Oyo State Bursary Award for the 2024/2025 academic session is now open for applications.

This bursary is exclusively available to final-year undergraduates, HND, Clinical, Aviation and Maritime students who are indigenes of Oyo State.

Who Can Apply for the Oyo State Bursary?

The bursary is specifically for Oyo State indigenes studying in Nigerian public universities and tertiary institutions.

Eligible applicants include:

• Final year undergraduates
• HND students
• Clinical students
• Aviation and Maritime students

Exclusions:

• Final year Law students
• NCE students
• Students in private institutions
• Part-time students
• Overseas students

Criteria for Applying

To apply for the Oyo State Bursary Award, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Letter of Admission: You must provide a scanned copy of your admission letter.
2. Local Government Identification: You need to submit your local government identification.
3. Current Course Registration Form: This form must be endorsed by your Head of Department (H.O.D).
4. FOSSU Membership: You must be a registered member of the Federation of Oyo State Student Union (FOSSU). If you are not yet registered, click here to register.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to apply for the Oyo State Bursary Award:

1. Prepare Your Documents: Ensure you have scanned copies of your letter of admission, local government identification, current course registration form and a passport photograph.
2. Create an Application: Visit the Oyo State Bursary Application Portal and click on the "Apply Now" button.
3. Fill Out the Application Form: Provide all the required information and upload the necessary documents.
4. Submit and Print Out: After submitting your application, print out the submission confirmation, which will include your application number. Keep this for future reference.

What Happens Next?

Once applications are reviewed, successful candidates will be announced and the status can be checked on the application portal.
