• Get up to $20,000 per year for three years as a research, networking, and travel allowance, supporting your doctoral research and related activities.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship, you must meet these requirements:

• Be registered or accepted into a full-time doctoral program in the first or second year of study.
• Your field of study must relate to the humanities, social sciences, or human sciences, and it should be relevant to Canada’s future.
• Your doctoral work must address at least one of the Foundation’s four main themes:
  • Human Rights and Dignity
  • Responsible Citizenship
  • Canada and the World
  • People and their Natural Environment
• You must be a Canadian citizen studying at a Canadian or foreign institution, or a permanent resident or foreign national enrolled in a doctoral program at a Canadian institution.

Submit your completed application by November 25, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. EST.
