Transforming Nigerian Youths Program 2025
The Transforming Nigerian Youths Program 2025 is now open for applications.
This programme is organised by SARA by Wema in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre and MasterCard Foundation.
The initiative is designed to equip Nigerian youths, particularly female entrepreneurs, with entrepreneurial and managerial skills.
Key Features of the Program
Comprehensive Training
- The programme offers enterprise training tailored to young Nigerian entrepreneurs, with a focus on women aged 18 to 35 years.
- The training includes a 15-working day, self-paced virtual curriculum aimed at developing business skills.
- Participants will also attend interactive workshops and seminars to apply the knowledge gained.
Mentorship and Support
- Personalised support will be provided by SMEDAN-certified Business Development Support Providers (BDSPs).
- This support will help participants address business challenges and identify opportunities.
Grand Pitchathon
- The programme concludes with a grand pitchathon, where participants present their business ideas to a panel of judges.
- The pitchathon offers a chance to receive critical feedback and secure grants or funding opportunities from investors.
Benefits of Participation
- Free training for 50,000 women entrepreneurs.
- Access to trade fairs and exhibitions at no cost or discounted rates to showcase products and services.
- Grant awards of up to N5,000,000 to start or grow a business.
Eligibility Criteria
- The programme is open to Nigerians aged 18 to 35.
- Women entrepreneurs operating within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are given priority.
