UMYU Amnesty Programme for Withdrawn Students
Umaru Musa Yar'Adua University (UMYU) amnesty programme for students withdrawn due to overstaying and failure to earn a CGPA of less than 1.50.

At its 109th regular meeting, the senate of Umaru Musa Yar'adua University (UMYU) had approved for the re-admission of its withdrawn students who fall under the following categories:
Prepare for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, BECE, NCEE and Post UTME
Practise CBT Exams on Mobile or PC
Prepare for Post UTME, WAEC, NECO, JAMB UTME, Junior WAEC (BECE) and Common Entrance (NCEE) with the MySchoolGist CBT App and Software. Use it on Android, iPhone or Windows to practise past questions anytime.

Category 'A': Over Stayed Candidates
These are categories of students who were once students of Umaru Musa Yar'adua University Katsina; and who had left the university after completing either 400 Level, Spill Over I or II but had not graduated.
To be considered for re-admission under this category, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be cleared for re-admission by the faculty help desk officer at the university;
- Obtain, fill and submit a prescribed form for re-admission
- Must not have more than 10 credit units as outstanding credits required for graduation.
- Must not be earlier withdrawn for
- Examination misconduct,
- Any Disciplinary reasons
Category 'B' Failure to earn a CGPA of 1.50
These are category of students who were once students of Umaru Musa Yar 'adua University Katsina, had obtained a CGPA of at least 1.00 but were withdrawn for either failing to continue with the studies or had been on probation for two consecutive sessions on the account of earning a CGPA of less than 1.50
To be considered for re-admission under this category, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be cleared for re-admission by the faculty help desk officer at the university;
- Obtain, fill and submit a prescribed form for re-admission
- Must not be earlier withdrawn for
- Examination misconduct,
- Any Disciplinary reasons
