University of Benin, (UNIBEN) Hostel Bed Spaces

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) Dean of Students, Professor Frederick Osaro Ekhaise, has sent a quick notice to students who have been given hostel bed spaces for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This message is for the students who already got a space. Not everyone. Just those with an allocation.

UNIBEN wants students to accept the bed space and pay for it as soon as they can. If a student leaves it hanging, the school can take the space back and give it out again. That's the point of the notice.

The university also gave a clear deadline. It says it will retrieve all unpaid allocations if students do not pay by Thursday, 8th January, 2026.

So, students who want to keep their hostel spot should act now. No need to drag it. A bed space can go, quick.
