UNICROSS Orientation and Matriculation Dates for 2025/2026 Fresh Students

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has fixed the dates for orientation and matriculation for newly admitted students in the 2025/2026 academic session. The schedule covers all programmes, and it applies to first year and Direct Entry students across UNICROSS campuses.

New students should take note of the dates and the key condition for matriculation; full school fees payment and departmental registration.

Who the notice is for

This schedule applies to:

• newly admitted students (first year), and
• newly admitted Direct Entry students,

for the UNICROSS 2025/2026 academic session.

UNICROSS orientation date (all campuses)

UNICROSS orientation is scheduled for 19th January, 2026. The university stated that orientation will hold in all campuses.

Students should watch their timing and movement; the date covers the entire UNICROSS system, not one campus alone.

UNICROSS matriculation dates by campus

UNICROSS has set separate matriculation dates for Calabar and Ogoja.

Calabar Campus matriculation

Matriculation for Calabar Campus is scheduled for 29th January 2026.

Ogoja Campuses matriculation

Matriculation for the Ogoja Campuses is scheduled for 30TH Jan, 2026 (yes, the next day).

Fees and registration: what students must do to qualify

UNICROSS stated that newly admitted students must meet two conditions to qualify for matriculation:

• pay their session school fees in full, and
• complete registration in their various departments.

This is not a suggestion; it is a requirement tied to matriculation.

What happens if a student fails to comply

The university warned that students who fail to pay fees and register to matriculate will forfeit their admission in UNICROSS. That single line carries weight; students should treat it like a deadline notice, not casual talk.
