The management of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has directed both students and staff to embark on a break due to the forthcoming general election

University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) Election Break

The Senate received and evaluated the Ministerial directive from the National Universities Commission on the closure of all Federal Universities and Inter-University Centres during a Special Meeting convened on Tuesday 14th February 2023.

In light of the preceding, the University Senate has decided to close the University from Wednesday, February 22, until Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
