The authorities of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) have released the academic calendar for the first and second semester, 2020/2021 academic session.

JULY 2021

• Friday 16 – Arrival of freshmen/provision of accommodation
• Monday 19 – Registration begins for freshmen
• Monday 26
  – Registration begins for returning students
  – Orientation for freshmen begins
• Friday 30 – Orientation for freshmen ends
• AUGUST 2021
• Monday 09 – Lectures begin for all students
• Friday 13 – Registration ends for returning students
• Monday 16 – Late Registration begins for returning students
• Friday 27 – Late Registration ends for returning students

OCTOBER 2021

• SATURDAY 02 – MATRICULATION CEREMONIES
• Monday 04 – Sunday 10 – Founder's Day Ceremonies
• Thursday 16 – Registration ends for freshmen
• Friday 22 – Lectures end
• Monday 25 – Revision begins
• Friday 29 – Revision ends

NOVEMBER 2021

• Monday 1 – Departmental examinations begin
• Friday 5 – Departmental examinations end
• Monday 8 – Examinations in Inter-Faculty and Inter-Disciplinary Courses begin
• Saturday 20 – Examinations in Inter-Faculty and Inter-Disciplinary Courses end

• Saturday 04 – Arrival of students
• Monday 06 – Registration begins for all students
• Tuesday 07 – Lectures begin
• Friday 17 – Registration ends
• Monday 20 – Late registration begins
• WEDNESDAY 22 – MONDAY 03 JANUARY 2022 – CHRISTMAS BREAK

JANUARY 2022

• Monday 03 – Christmas break ends/students return to campus
• Tuesday 04 – Second-semester lectures continue
• Friday 07 – Late registration ends
• Friday 21 – Last day for submission of first semester results to the
• Department. Processing of results begins in the Department.
• Monday 24 – Thursday 27 – Departmental Board meets to approve First Semester Results

FEBRUARY 2022

• Friday 04 – Last day for submission of first semester results to the Registry (Examinations). Processing of results begins in the Registry
• Friday 11 – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.
• Monday 14 – Thursday 17 – Faculty Board meets to approve First Semester Results
• Friday 25 – Lectures end
• Monday 28 – Revision begins
• MONDAY 21 – SUNDAY 27 FEBRUARY – CONVOCATION CEREMONIES

MARCH 2022

• Friday 04 – Revision ends
• Monday 07 – Departmental examinations begin
• Friday 11 – Departmental examinations end
• Monday 14 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses begin
• FRIDAY 15 – SUNDAY 22 EASTER BREAK
• Saturday 26 – Examinations in inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses end
• END OF 2020/2021 SESSION AND STUDENTS VACATE CAMPUS

MAY 2022

• Monday 02 – Thursday 05
  – Last day for submission of first semester results to the Department.
  – Processing of results begins in the Department
• Monday 09 – Departmental Board meets to approve Second Semester Results
• Friday 13 – Last day for submission of second-semester results to the Registry (Examinations). Processing of results begins in the Registry
• Friday 27 – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.

JUNE 2022

• Monday 13 – Thursday 16 – Faculty Board meets to approve Second Semester Results
• Wednesday 29 – Senate meets to consider and approve final year results
