Eligibility Criteria

Four-Year Part-Time Degree Programme

In accordance with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) policy, candidates applying for Part-Time/Sandwich/Distance learning should be processed through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Candidates do not need to sit for JAMB, although those who have taken the UTME are still eligible. All students must register their part-time status with JAMB to obtain the NYSC Exclusion Certificate through the Division of Students’ Affairs.

Application Process

Candidates are invited to apply and submit their forms online via the AFUED Online Application Page or visit the MIS Cyber Café at the University and Directorate of Continuing Education and Part-Time Studies.

Steps to Apply

  1. Visit the AFUED Portal.
  2. Click on “Apply.”
  3. Check the box to confirm you have read the instructions, then click “Continue.”
  4. Create an account by filling out the required forms and providing a valid email address where a password will be sent.
  5. Access your email and log in to the site using the password provided.
  6. Make a payment of ₦10,000 (excluding bank charges) through Etranzact.
  7. Continue with your registration, ensuring all information is correct, as edits cannot be made after submission.
  8. Print a hard copy of the completed application form and submit two copies to the Directorate of Continuing Education and Part-Time Studies.
