AKSU Post UTME/DE Form for 2025/2026 Admission
AKSU has opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration for 2025/2026. If you picked the school as your first choice and scored 150 or more, you can apply from 21 July to 16 September.
Latest Update: Akwa Ibom State University Extends Post UTME Registration Deadline
In a bid to give prospective students more time, Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has announced an extension of its online registration period.
According to the institution, the university portal will remain open from Monday, September 1, 2025, until Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The management is urging all interested candidates to take advantage of this grace period to complete their registration before the final deadline.
The University further warned that candidates who fail to register within the stipulated time frame will not be considered for admission into the institution for the new academic session.
This extension comes as part of the university’s commitment to ensuring that all eligible applicants are given a fair chance to secure admission.
AKSU Calls for Applications
Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), Ikot Akpaden, has opened the online portal for 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening. The call is for candidates who scored 150 and above in UTME and picked AKSU as their first choice. Direct Entry applicants are also welcome to apply.
If you fall into that group, then now’s the time to register. Don’t delay. The window closes on Tuesday, 15 September 2025.

Screening Requirements
Make sure you have these documents before you register:
- 2025 UTME result slip
- 2025 DE registration slip (for DE applicants only)
- ND, HND, NCE, or A-level certificate (DE only)
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of origin
- AKSU registration confirmation slip
How to Register Online
Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of the process:
- Visit the AKSU application portal
- Click START NOW
- Click Enrol, then choose PUTME
- Enter your JAMB registration number and click the arrow to continue
- Pay the ₦2,000 registration fee online (excluding bank charges)
- Upload scanned copies of your documents in .jpg format (file size: 120KB to 150KB)
- Preview all details carefully
- When satisfied, click Finish
- Download and print your registration confirmation slip
Final Notes
- Once admission is offered, you’ll have four weeks to accept it
- If you ignore the offer, AKSU will withdraw it and blacklist you from future admission
- Awaiting result candidates may apply, but must upload their O’level results through an approved JAMB CBT centre
- Avoid paying anyone claiming to be an agent. AKSU doesn’t use middlemen
