AKSU reschedules inaugural lecture and 16th matriculation ceremony

Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU, has announced a new schedule for two key events.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Otobong E. Akpan, informed the university community, staff, students, stakeholders, and the general public that the inaugural lecture by Professor Edna A. Akpan and the 16th matriculation ceremony have been moved to new dates. The notice is direct; the revised timetable is now in place.

New date for Professor Edna A. Akpan’s inaugural lecture

The inaugural lecture by Professor Edna A. Akpan will now hold on Thursday, 19 March 2026.

The venue is the Senate Building, Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden, Mpat Enin L.G.A.

New date for AKSU 16th matriculation ceremony

The 16th matriculation ceremony has been rescheduled to Friday, 24 April 2026.
