Delta State University (DELSU) has released the schedule for the orientation exercise for newly admitted students in the 2024/2025 academic session.

Day One: General Activities

• Date: Wednesday, 22 January 2025
• Faculties: All Faculties
• Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Activities: Opening Formalities and Lectures
• Venue: Convocation Arena

Day Two: Faculty-Based Activities

• Date: Thursday, 23 January 2025

Morning Session

• Faculties: Faculty of Arts, Basic Medical Science, and Dentistry
• Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Activities: Panel’s Interactive Session with Students
• Venue: Convocation Hall

Day Three: Group Sessions

• Date: Friday, 24 January 2025

Morning Session

• Faculties: All Faculties
• Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
• Activities: Civility and Social Etiquette/Skills
• Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Hall

Afternoon Sessions

1. Session One
   • Faculties: Social Sciences, Agriculture, Communications and Media Studies, and Education
   • Time: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
   • Activities: Panel’s Interactive Session with Students
   • Venue: Faculty of Social Science Large Hall
2. Session Two
   • Faculties: Management Science, Science, and Pharmacy
   • Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
   • Activities: Panel’s Interactive Session with Students
   • Venue: Faculty of Management Science New Hall

Oleh Campus Activities

• Date: Friday, 24 January 2025

General Session

• Faculties: All Faculties
• Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Activities: Opening Formalities and Lectures
• Venue: Oleh Campus

Faculty Session

• Faculties: Law and Engineering
• Time: 2:10 PM – 3:10 PM
• Activities: Panel’s Interactive Session with Students
