Admission Is Underway
Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has kicked off its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session. The screening form for both Post UTME and Direct Entry is now live. If you’re aiming to study at EBSU, here’s what you need to know to get started without stress.
Who Can Apply?
To be considered, you must:
- Score 150 or above in the 2025 UTME. Some departments need more. You can check the EBSU cut-off marks.
- Choose EBSU as your first choice. If you didn’t, you can change your institution.
- Have at least five credits, including English and Maths, from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. Two sittings are allowed.
- If you’re waiting for your result, you can still apply.
- Keep your name the same across all your documents. If there’s any mismatch, your application could be dropped.
What to Keep in Mind
- No physical screening will take place. Everything stays online.
- You’ll find out whether you’ve been offered admission via the EBSU admission list portal.
- Make sure you upload your O’Level result to both EBSU’s portal and JAMB CAPS.
- If you’re offered admission, accept it on JAMB CAPS within two weeks. Miss that and the offer disappears.
How to Apply
Here’s the simple route:
- Go to the EBSU portal.
- Click “Online Application Forms” and pick either Post UTME or Direct Entry.
- Type your JAMB Registration Number and hit Login.
- Generate your invoice and pay ₦2,000 either at a bank or with your ATM card.
- After payment, go back to the portal and complete your application. Use a valid email and working phone number.
Deadline
The form is available from 14th July to 14th August 2025. Don’t leave it till the last minute.
