FSS-Oyo Admission Form into Newly Accredited Programmes 2020/2021

This is to inform the general public that the Federal School of surveying, Oya has been accredited by the NBTE to offer three new courses. 

FSS Oyo Newly Accredited Courses

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted Interim Accreditation to the Federal School of Surveying, Oyo to run the following Academic Programmes from 2020/2021 Academic session:

• NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCES
• NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN CARTOGRAPHY & GIS
• NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN PHOTOGRAMMETRY & REMOTE SENSING

Admission Requirements for the FSS Oyo Newly Accredited Courses

A. Department of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing
National Diploma (ND) in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing
Duration: 4 Semesters

Admission Requirements: Eligible candidates should have possessed five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Physics and any other two (2) relevant subjects which may include Further Mathematics or Statistics, Technical Drawing or Fine Art, Economics or Government, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Geography, Land Surveying, all obtained at O’Level SSCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings

UTME Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus one relevant subject from Chemistry, Geography, Statistics or Further Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science, Economics or Government.

B. Department of Cartography and GIS
National Diploma (ND) in Cartography and GIS
Duration: 4 Semesters

Admission Requirements: Eligible candidates should have possessed five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Physics and any other two (2) relevant subjects which may include Further Mathematics or Statistics, Technical Drawing or Fine Art, Economics or Government, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Geography, Land Surveying, all obtained at O’Level SSCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings
