The Gombe State University (GSU) has set a resumption date for academic activities, starting from Monday, 4th November 2024.
This announcement follows a special Senate meeting held on Monday, 28th October 2024, where the Senate approved the revised academic calendar for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

- Resumption and Lectures: Monday, 4th November 2024 – Sunday, 21st December 2024
- Mid-Semester Break: Monday, 22nd December 2024 – Saturday, 4th January 2025
- Second Semester Lectures: Monday, 6th January 2025 – Saturday, 1st February 2025
- Examinations: Monday, 3rd February 2025 – Saturday, 23rd February 2025
Postgraduate Academic Calendar
- Resumption and Lectures: Monday,4th November 2024 – Saturday, 16th November 2024
- Examinations: Monday, 18th November 2024 – Saturday, 30th November 2024
- Marking Period: Monday, 2nd December 2024 – Saturday, 21st December 2024
