Apply for NDDC 2025/2026 Foreign Postgraduate Scholarships

The Niger Delta Development Commission has announced the 2025/2026 foreign postgraduate scholarship.

This offer targets candidates from Niger Delta states with degrees in approved courses.

The goal is to support local talent and build skilled workers for national growth.

Know the Approved Fields of Study

The scholarship is open to candidates with degrees in:

• Agricultural Science
• Engineering
• Environmental Science
• Geosciences
• Information Technology
• Medical Sciences
• Law
• Architecture

Only these courses are allowed under this scheme.

Check Who Can Apply

You must come from a state in the Niger Delta.

You must have a degree from a recognised university.

Accepted results are:

• First Class
• Second Class Upper
• Second Class Lower

You must not be above 40 years of age.

Follow the Selection Process

1. Submit your form online through the link in this post.
2. Get shortlisted based on WASSCE, degree, and LGA ID.
3. Take a computer-based test in Rivers State.
4. Score at least 70% in the test to move forward.
5. Get verified through your LGA and community committee.

Only those who pass all stages will be considered.

The scholarship amount will depend on the current exchange rate.

The payment will cover your studies abroad.

Prepare These Documents

Attach these items when applying:

• Passport photo
• Local Government ID
• Admission letter from a foreign university
• Degree certificate
• NYSC discharge or exemption letter

A registration number will be given after the form is submitted.

You should print a copy of the confirmation page.
