NDU Admission List 2025–2026: How to Check Your Status
Niger Delta University has published its admission list for the 2025–2026 session. Candidates can now check their status on the JAMB CAPS portal and take the next steps. Read further for the process and meanings of each status reply.
Niger Delta University, often called NDU, has announced the release of its admission list for the 2025–2026 academic session. This is the green light many applicants have been waiting for, after sitting through the Post-UTME screening exercise. Now comes the test of patience, seeing whether your name made the cut.
How to Check NDU Admission List
Admission status is no longer a matter of walking to a notice board. These days, the check is online. The JAMB CAPS portal is the official channel.
- Go to the JAMB EFacility portal
- Sign in with your JAMB username and password
- Scroll and click Check Admission Status
- Tap on Access my CAPS
- Select Admission Status to see if NDU has offered you a seat
Those using mobile phones might run into a hiccup, where the portal only shows a welcome page. To fix this, switch your browser to desktop mode. Chrome tends to do the job well, just go into settings and request desktop site.
What the Different Status Replies Mean
The CAPS portal gives back a message, each one carrying its own meaning.
- Admission Offered: Congratulations, your name is on the list. Accept or reject the offer straight away.
- Admission in Progress (AIP): Your file is moving along the chain, from school to JAMB, waiting for the last approval.
- Recommended: The school has put you forward, but JAMB still needs to give the green light.
- Not Admitted: You are not listed at the moment. It may be because the school has not released all names or your review is still hanging.
- Pending: Your case is still under review, so no final word yet.
What to Do After Admission
If you have been offered a place, the next steps are simple.
- Send a text saying ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- After accepting, go ahead and print your JAMB admission letter. Keep it, you will need it later.
Closing Word
This is the season of mixed feelings, some breathe sighs of relief, others keep checking. For those whose names appear, celebrate the start of something new. For those still waiting, hold on, lists often come in batches. For now, we say well done and congratulations to the fresh students of NDU.
