Eligibility Criteria for PLASU Post UTME Screening
To participate in the screening exercise, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must have chosen Plateau State University, Bokkos, as your first choice in the 2024 JAMB UTME and scored at least 160.
- If you applied for admission into the Faculties of Health Sciences, Law, or Social Sciences, different cut-off marks apply:
- Faculty of Health Sciences:
- Department of Nursing Sciences: Minimum score of 215.
- Department of Medical Laboratory Science: Minimum score of 200.
- Department of Public Health: Minimum score of 180.
- Faculty of Law:
- Department of Law: Minimum score of 200.
- Faculty of Social Sciences:
- Department of Psychology: Minimum score of 180.
- Faculty of Health Sciences:
- For Direct Entry candidates, you must have chosen PLASU as your first choice in the 2024 JAMB DE application and possess any of the following qualifications:
- First Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit.
- IJMB/JUPEB with a minimum of 6 points.
Guidelines for Applying for PLASU Post UTME
The screening exercise will be conducted online.
Follow these steps to apply:
- Visit the University Portal: Access the PLASU application portal.
- Select the Relevant Application Form: Choose “UTME/DE APPLICATION” from the menu.
- JAMB Verification: Enter your JAMB Registration Number to verify your details.
- Email and Password: Provide a valid email address, create a secure password, and confirm the password.
- Email Confirmation: Check your email for a confirmation link. Click this link to log in and continue your application.
Payment and Further Steps
- Generate RRR Number: Click “Click to make payment” to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Payment Method: For card payment, click “Proceed To Payment”. If you prefer cash, copy the RRR number and pay at any bank.
- Screening Fee: Pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).
- Upload Documents: Upload a recent passport photograph (maximum file size of 150kb, acceptable file types: png, jpg, jpeg).
- Academic Records: Submit your best five O-Level subjects and grades as specified in the JAMB brochure for PLASU.
