University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programmes of the School of Health Information Management for the 2026/2027 session. The programmes are full-time.
UITH ND Health Information Management Admission Requirements
Candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma programme must meet the stated academic and screening conditions.
JAMB Requirement for ND
The candidate must have written the 2026 JAMB with this subject combination:
- English Language
- Biology
- Physics
- Chemistry
O’Level Requirement for ND
The candidate must have at least five credit passes in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
The results must be obtained at not more than two sittings. NABTEB is accepted, but it cannot be combined with any other O’Level result.
Other ND Conditions
The candidate:
- must not be less than 16 years old at the time of application
- must not have criminal record
- must not have deformity of the hands

UITH HND Health Information Management Admission Requirements
Applicants for the Higher National Diploma programme must meet the requirement for National Diploma admission. The School also lists extra conditions for the HND route.
Academic and Professional Requirements for HND
The applicant must:
- meet the National Diploma admission requirement
- possess National Diploma certificate or Health Record Technician certificate
A candidate with ND certificate in Health Information Management must also have:
- evidence of one year industrial training
- professional licence certificate Part I by the Health Record Officers Registration Board of Nigeria
O’Level Requirement for HND
The candidate must also possess West African School Certificate, General Certificate of Education, SSCE, NECO, or CE with five credit passes at not more than two sittings. NABTEB is accepted in one sitting.
The required subjects are:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
