POLAC Screening Exercise 2025 Timetable
Nigeria Police Academy has announced the screening timetable for 12th Regular Course applicants. The exercise will start on 6th October 2025 in Wudil, Kano, and includes CBT exams, medical checks, and interviews. Candidates are advised to read carefully and come prepared.
What the screening is about
The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil–Kano, has called all applicants for the 12th Regular Course to attend its full screening exercise. This will begin on 6th October 2025. It is no small affair, as the screening stretches across computer-based tests, medical checks, physical screening, and finally a selection board interview.
For many, this is the main gate to step into the Academy. Missing a step or ignoring a detail could mean a long wait till another year. So it pays to keep an eye on the schedule.
Screening schedule for Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC)
The Academy has arranged the exercise in batches, by state of origin. Each candidate must appear on the date fixed for their state, not earlier, not later.
- Batch 1: 6th October 2025
Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bauchi (Batch A) - Batch 2: 7th October 2025
Bauchi (Batch B), Bayelsa, Benue, and Borno (Batch A) - Batch 3: 8th October 2025
Borno (Batch B), Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, and Edo (Batch A) - Batch 4: 9th October 2025
Edo (Batch B), Ekiti, Enugu, FCT-Abuja, Gombe, Imo, and Jigawa (Batch A) - Batch 5: 10th October 2025
Jigawa (Batch B), Kaduna, and Kano (Batch A) - Batch 6: 11th October 2025
Kano (Batch B), Katsina, Kebbi, and Kogi (Batch A) - Batch 7: 12th October 2025
Kogi (Batch B), Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, and Ogun (Batch A) - Batch 8: 13th October 2025
Ogun (Batch B), Ondo, Osun, Oyo, and Plateau (Batch A) - Batch 9: 14th October 2025
Plateau (Batch B), Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, and Yobe (Batch A) - Batch 10: 15th October 2025
Yobe (Batch B) and Zamfara
Candidates must stick to their dates, as no one will be entertained before or after their allotted day.
Requirements for the POLAC screening
Applicants must bring both original and photocopies of the following papers:
- Primary school leaving certificate
- WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results
- JAMB result slip
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Local Government indigene certificate
- Identification letter
- Guarantor’s form, filled and signed
- Medical fitness report from a government hospital
- NIN slip
- Four passport-sized photographs
- Application acknowledgement slip printed from the Polac Admission Portal
Dress code for candidates
The dress code is plain and simple:
- White T-shirt
- White shorts
- White socks
- White canvas shoes
This uniform look helps in easy identification and keeps the process orderly.
Final note of caution
Applicants are reminded to rely only on official announcements and the Polac Admission Portal for updates. The Academy has warned about fake accounts on social media posing as official outlets.
