PUMS Post UTME Eligibility

UTME Candidates

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must have sat for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and chosen PUMS as the first choice.
• Must possess five credit passes at SSCE (or equivalent) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language, and Mathematics in no more than two sittings.
• Must have scored 170 and above in the 2024 UTME. For the MBBS programme, a score of 220 and above is required.
• Must upload O’level results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Eligibility

Eligible candidates include:

• Candidates who sat for the 2024 JAMB UTME and made PUMS their first choice.
• Candidates who wish to study at PUMS but did not make it their first choice must apply for CHANGE OF INSTITUTION to PUMS as their first choice through the JAMB Portal.
• Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

How to Apply for PUMS Post UTME Form

1. Visit the PUMS Website.
2. Click on Apply Now at the top centre of the page.
3. Enter your JAMB number and click on “Check Eligibility.” If verified, you will be redirected to the application form.
4. Fill in all required information accurately before submitting.
5. You will be logged onto the PUMS Portal to complete the application by uploading supporting documents.

Supporting Documents

Ensure you scan and upload the original copies of the following documents:

• O’Level Result (WAEC and/or NECO) if available
• Birth Certificate/Age Affidavit
• Local Government of Origin
• Letter of Attestation/Reference

Method of Payment

1. Click on “Make Payment.”
2. Copy the bank account number and make a transfer or direct bank deposit of N10,000 only.
3. Upload evidence of payment.
4. After successful payment and upload, make the final submission of your application and print the clearance form.

Post UTME Screening

Candidates should prepare for the mandatory screening exercise. The date for the 1st Post-UTME Screening will be announced.
