The 2025/2026 academic year at Sa’adu Zungur University runs from December 2025 to October 2026.
There are two main semesters:
- First semester starts with resumption on 1 December 2025 and ends with a four week break in April 2026.
- Second semester starts on 13 April 2026 and ends with a long break from late July 2026.

Short notes for students:
- Resumption and registration cover the first two weeks of December, so students can settle in and clear fees.
- Lectures run from early December to late February, with only short breaks for Christmas and New Year.

Second semester schedule
Second semester starts after the four week first semester break. It has another 12 weeks of lectures, followed by GST and main examinations, then a long end-of-session break.
