The Council has approved Schools of Nursing, Midwifery, Post Basic Nursing, and Departments of Nursing with the Accreditation Status and Admission Quota On State Basis.

Nigeria now has Four Hundred  (400)  nursing training institutions. The following is a list of Nursing Training Institutions in Nigeria that the Council has approved as of October 2023.
