RSU Post UTME/Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Admission

Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has released details for the 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening. Candidates who chose RSU during the 2026 UTME and received notice from JAMB should read the rules before applying.

Only first-choice candidates can register.

Who Can Apply for RSU Post UTME

RSU will screen candidates who chose the university as their first-choice school. The screening does not cover candidates who placed another school above RSU.

Candidates must also score 190 or above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. This cut-off applies to all faculties of the university.

O’Level Requirement

Candidates must have the required five O’Level credit passes for their chosen faculty and department. The requirements follow the details published in the JAMB brochure.

Applicants must upload their O’Level results during registration. Candidates awaiting O’Level results can still apply, but they must state that status while filling the form.

No admission will receive approval without an O’Level result.

Past Questions and Answers for RSU Post UTME

RSU Post UTME candidates can practise with past questions and answers through MySchoolGist CBT apps.

They can use the MySchoolGist CBT Android app or the MySchoolGist CBT iOS app.

A desktop version is also available.

RSU Post UTME Registration Date

Online registration for the screening starts on Monday, 18 May 2026. The portal closes on Sunday, 7 June 2026.

Candidates should register within this period.

How to Register for RSU Post UTME

Candidates should register online through the RSU application portal. Payment is made with a debit card.

RSU also advises candidates to use the online chat support for more details. Candidates may use the Information Communication and Technology Centre, ICTC, Rivers State University, for trusted registration and biometric verification.

Details Candidates Must Check

Candidates should make sure their details match the information used during JAMB registration. A wrong name, number or profile detail can create problems during screening.

The screening will be electronic, so candidates should practise basic computer use, especially the mouse and keyboard. The test will take place at the university’s ICTC.

Screening Slip and Test Schedule

After online registration, candidates should print their screening test slip. The slip will show the date, time and venue for the screening.

Candidates must follow the schedule on their slip. RSU will not allow any candidate to sit for the test after the assigned examination date.

Rules for the Screening Venue

All candidates must attend the screening on the exact date and time printed on their test slip. Candidates who miss their scheduled test will not be considered for admission.

Parents, guardians and well-wishers should stay away from the screening venue.

RSU Admission Updates

Further details about the screening exercise will be available on the RSU official website. The names of successful candidates for admission will also be published on the same website.
