UNICAL Part-Time Degree Admission Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session

University of Calabar has opened admission into its Centre for Educational Services part-time degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme targets working professionals, entrepreneurs and lifelong learners who want university education with a flexible study plan. UNICAL lists accredited programmes, a flexible study schedule and career-focused courses as key features of the CES part-time degree route.

UNICAL Part-Time Degree Courses

The Centre for Educational Services offers several part-time degree programmes across education, management, social science and related fields.

Available programmes include:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Linguistics and Communication Studies
  2. Bachelor Degree in Continuing Education and Development Studies
  3. Bachelor Degree in Educational Management
  4. Bachelor Degree in Environmental Education
  5. Bachelor Degree in Educational Technology
  6. Bachelor Degree in Accounting
  7. Bachelor Degree in Banking and Finance
  8. Bachelor Degree in Business Management
  9. Bachelor Degree in Marketing
  10. Bachelor Degree in Public Administration

JAMB Portal Application Procedure for UNICAL Part-Time Admission

All candidates must first visit any CBT centre to create a JAMB profile through the JAMB e-Facility portal.

After creating the profile, candidates should log in and click the Part-Time Registration link. They will pay ₦7,500 to JAMB, and once the registration process ends, JAMB will issue a registration number and a printed registration slip.

UNICAL CES Application Process

Candidates with a JAMB registration number can move to the UNICAL CES application stage.

The university gives two payment options for the CES form.

First Method: Buy CES Form Online

Candidates can buy the CES form online with an ATM card through the UNICAL CES online payment portal.

After payment, the candidate should log in with the transaction ID to complete the form.

Second Method: Pay Through Any Bank

Candidates may also walk into any bank branch nationwide and request payment for the University of Calabar CES or Pre-Degree application form for 2026/2027 on the E-Tranzact platform.

The application fee is ₦15,000 only. After payment, the candidate will receive a payment slip with a confirmation order number or unique PIN.

How to Register on the UNICAL Portal

After obtaining the e-PIN, candidates should visit the University of Calabar portal and select “CES Online Application” from the CES menu tab on the home page.

The next page will ask for the candidate’s phone number and confirmation order number or transaction ID PIN. Once access opens, the candidate should follow the on-screen instructions and complete the form.

Printout After Submission

Candidates should print the form after submission.

That printout serves as part of the completed online application record.

Note for Direct Entry Candidates

Candidates seeking Direct Entry admission must submit their academic transcript to the relevant departments.

They should do this as part of the admission process.
